OFC runs theatre programs in many schools throughout the Rochester area. Please register for the following programs only if you attend that school.

St. Rita's School Musical: 

Seussical Jr

Open for St Rita School students in grades 2-5!

Auditions: Monday, February 10 from 2:30PM-4PM

Rehearsals: Start on Wednesday, February 12
All Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30PM-4PM at St Rita School
There will be afternoon rehearsals each day (Mon-Thu) the week of the show (4/28-5/1)

Performances at St Rita: Friday, May 2 at 6PM & Saturday, May 3 at 2PM
 

Tuition: $160 per student

Students MUST register in advance prior to audition day
 

Synopsis:
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza! Transporting students & audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

At auditions, students will be taught an excerpt from a song from the show by a theatre professional from OFC Creations. Students do not need to prepare anything before attending auditions.

Open for St Louis School students in grades 2-5!

Auditions: Friday, February 28 from 3:15PM-5PM

Rehearsals:
Starting on March 3rd: Mondays from 3:15PM-5PM
Starting on April 2nd: Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15PM-5PM
at St Louis School

There will be longer after school rehearsals every day (Mon-Thu) the week of the show (5/12-5/15)

Performances at St Louis School: Friday 5/16 at 7PM; Saturday 5/17 at 2PM;
and Saturday 5/17 at 7PM

Performances at Seton: Thursday, June 5 – 7PM; Friday, June 6 – 7PM; Saturday, June 7 – 2PM; Saturday, June 7 – 7PM
