About OFC Creations

About

OFC Creations Theatre Center is a professional regional performing arts center proudly based in Rochester, NY. Since 2005, OFC has been creating unique, beloved, and high caliber theatrical productions under the direction of Eric Vaughn Johnson.

PRO-SEASON: OFC's Broadway in Brighton Series is a professional line up of musical productions featuring performers from New York City, Los Angeles, and across the country.  Many actors have performed on Broadway, on National Tours, and in major motion pictures. This subscription based series includes popular shows that are rarely produced in the region.

EDUCATION: OFC's educational programs offers opportunities for students ages 4 to 18 to take the stage through classes in acting, singing and dance. Students can perform in full shows that rehearse afterschool and weekends as well as in OFC's massive summer camp program, ROC Summer Theatre Experience.

The staff at OFC is comprised of current theatre professionals focused on creating the next generation of theatre professionals and high caliber productions. Johnson has assembled a team of artists and teaching artists with major credits, and continues to grow and expand the team to meet the high demand for performing arts in the Rochester region.

OFC Creations is becoming one of the few theatres in the Nation to employ a full-time professional Resident Acting Company. Company members will perform principal roles in all Broadway in Brighton productions along with sharing their high caliber knowledge of acting, singing, and dance with the next generation through educational programs.

The 2023-2024 line up will feature Eric Schutt as OFC’s first company member who will be performing as Misty in Dance Mums, Brad in The Rocky Horror Show, Bob Wallace in White Christmas, Charlie in Kinky Boots, Blanche in She Has Risen: The Golden Girls Easter Musical, and Leo Bloom in The Producers, showcasing Schutt’s versatility and talent.

Acknowledgment:

We are gathered in ancestral territory of the Onöndowa’ga, or "the people of the Great Hill." In English, they are known as Seneca people, "the keeper of the western door." Together, with the Mohawk, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Tuscarora, the Seneca make up the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We pay respects to their elders, past and present. Please take a moment to consider the many legacies of violence, displacement, genocide, and migration that bring us together here today. Please join us in uncovering such truths at any and all public events.
