About OFC Creations
Mission
OFC Creations LLC’s (Opportunities For Creativity) mission is to give artists of all ages an opportunity to explore and push their creative limits. OFC is committed to developing the next generation of artists and audiences through shows, unique events, and educational classes for all ages.
Vision
OFC Creations supports the community through partnerships and creative show selections in the Rochester area. OFC offers after school and evening arts programming to private and public schools, opening opportunities to new directors in the Rochester community, touring theatre productions, and performing arts classes. Additionally, OFC partners with the LGBT+ community each year to present a LGBT+ Show Series, many of the performances benefit non-profit organizations like Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. In the summer months, OFC runs the largest theatre summer camp program in Upstate New York: ROC Summer Theatre Experience.
OFC Creations Theatre Center
Originally housed in multiple theatres including the Kodak Center and the Lyric Theatre, OFC opened a new, multi-purpose performing arts center in Brighton in July of 2020: OFC Creations Theatre Center.
The OFC Creations Theatre Center (3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY 14623) has given the company the opportunity to expand to offer more to the community that it serves. The 260-seat theatre hosts a multitude of events. The re-designed lobby is ideal for community receptions and events. Additional spaces include a multi-use dance studio, private lesson rooms, greenroom/dressing room, and more. The center is air conditioned, ADA accessible, and has free parking for 750 vehicles. OFC History
OFC has been a fixture of the Rochester performing arts scene since 2005. Founded by Eric Vaughn Johnson, OFC’s original artists and students dabbled in claymation, videography, and music videos. In 2014, the group grew from an informal "student club" to a successful, fully-fledged company. OFC produced live musical theatre productions at Nazareth College, the Rochester Museum and Science Center, Visual Studies Workshop, School of the Arts, the East End Theatre, the Kodak Center, the Century Club, and the Lyric Theatre.
As their reputation grew, OFC found themselves in demand as area elementary schools reached out to the company to run in-school drama programs. The school programs soon expanded to encompass February break and Spring break camps, evening classes and lessons, professional workshops, and summer camp programs. OFC's educational programs grew alongside our professional adult productions, featuring many of the same teaching artists who work with our students. OFC is one of the only independent company of theatre professionals teaching the next generation of theatre professionals in the region.

Acknowledgment:
We are gathered in ancestral territory of the Onöndowa’ga, or "the people of the Great Hill." In English, they are known as Seneca people, "the keeper of the western door." Together, with the Mohawk, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Tuscarora, the Seneca make up the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We pay respects to their elders, past and present. Please take a moment to consider the many legacies of violence, displacement, genocide, and migration that bring us together here today. Please join us in uncovering such truths at any and all public events.
