OFC Creations Presents

Sinatra at the Sands Reprise

Performance on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30PM at the OFC Creations Theatre Center; Appropriate for all ages

Sinatra at the Sands Reprise recreates the 1966 show with Frank and the 12-piece Count Basie Band and features Frank Torchio’s rendering of the Chairman of the Board and The Russell Scarbrough Orchestra swinging like the Count. The Reprise Show includes many definitive readings of the songs most closely identified with Sinatra, such as "Come Fly With Me," "The Lady is a Tramp," "I’ve Got You Under My Skin," and "Luck be a Lady," as well as comedy & impressions.

Frank Torchio has been performing for over four decades – as a vocal impersonator and comic impressionist. In the 1980s he performed at comedy clubs in Manhattan, such as, The Comic Strip and The Improv. In 1995, Frank won first place as Rochester’s Funniest Bigshot at Rochester’s Geva Theatre‘s fundraiser, Stand Up for Geva. In 2003, Frank began singing with Nik Entertainment’s Rochester Rat Pack and shortly thereafter, he formed Frank’s Rat Pack.

From the Tony and Grammy award-winning creators of Spring Awakening, Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, and co-written by Jessie Nelson (Waitress), Alice by Heart is a touching musical inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

As they travel through the tale, Alice by Heart explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. This world premiere musical encourages us all to celebrate the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times.

The Golden Girls Musical

Written by Eric Vaughn Johnson

Performances April 11-28, 2024 at the OFC Creations Theatre Center; Appropriate for ages 13 & up

Picture it: Easter 2024, a miracle has happened as our four favorite golden gals rise from their graves to reunite an extremely divided country. Grab your favorite Easter bonnet and join us for a brand-new show with the Rochester Golden Girls: Hunter Ekberg, Shawn Gray, Ben Reiner, Nino Ruggeri, Eric Schutt, Calvin Staropoli, and Paul Urriola.

When Rose launches her campaign for President of the United States all bets are off as the girls begin to fixate over the one conversation they’ve avoided all these years: Politics. As their friendship faces its biggest threat, they now have more than just the country to fix before the election’s most important event, the musical debate at Mar-A-Lago.

Join Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia as they leave their Miami home and begin a hysterical road trip to the debate filled with song and dance from Nancy Pelosi, Ron DeSantis, The Trump Family, Joe Biden, and many more. The musical comedy will feature a range of parody tunes, as The Golden Girls “rise up” to make this one adventure we’ll never forget!

She Has Risen: The Golden Girls Musical is an equal opportunity offender! This production pokes fun at all sides of politics, and by doing so, hopes to bring us all closer together.

VIP Tickets include priority seating as well as an exclusive Golden Girls Easter egg  (or other exclusive Golden Girls item) to take home.  Please note that this production contains mature content, including strong language and themes.

OFC's Broadway in Brighton Series Presents

The Producers

Book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan; Music and Lyrics by Mel Brooks

Performances May 9-26, 2024 at the OFC Creations Theatre Center;

Appropriate for ages 13 & up

The plot is simple: a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all "little old ladies") out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously offensive "Springtime for Hitler"), hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction.

With a truly hysterical book co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan (Annie) and music and lyrics by Mr. Brooks, The Producers skewers Broadway traditions and takes no prisoners! It is a truly "boffo" hit, winning a record twelve Tony Awards with outrageous, in-your-face humor.

Along Came Bialy... Meet Your Max Bialystock!

David Autovino* A proud member of Actors' Equity Association with a BFA in Theatre Studies, David draws upon his extensive classical and musical theatre experience to bring characters to life, with WNY appearances at Geva Theatre Center, Artpark, Irish Classical Theatre and Shakespeare in Delaware Park. After starring alongside NFL star Michael Strahan in a series of national commercials, his career shifted to voiceover, commercials and film. He now serves voiceover clients around the world from his home recording studio right here in Rochester, NY.  *Actor appears through the courtesy of Actors’ Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors in the United States.
