GOOD NEWS! New York State recently announced live public theatre events can reopen and our team wasted no time getting right back to performing! Although OFC Creations LLC has been open and running educational programs since July of 2020, the beginning of April 2021 marked our ability to welcome back in-person public audiences!

EFFECTIVE: April 1, 2022
From day one of the pandemic, OFC Creations has followed NYS and CDC guidelines strictly while finding ways for "the show to go on." Our team has been committed to allowing students to perform and audiences attend events while keeping them safe throughout the process.

OFC Creations has also been committed to "getting back to normal as quickly as possible," as soon as we received the green-light, we would switch gears and allow everyone a sense of normalcy.

With NYS and the CDC easing restrictions on masking, and now that many local public schools are not requiring masks, we are changing our policies to the following effective immediately:

OFC will be mask optional for students, performers, and audience members.

Please check back here for updates. Performances are still at 100% capacity, and all seats may be sold for certain events. Other OFC programs or external programs held at OFC may have differing policies, please follow guidelines provided by the respective program leader.

By attending an OFC event you agree to our Liability Waiver, see below.

If you are interested in specific seats being reserved for you for a general admission show there is a $20 per seat charge for them to be held for your party. Please contact us if interested.

OFC Creations Presents

Spring Awakening

Live in person performances on Friday, May 27 at 7:30PM; Saturday, May 28 at 2PM; Saturday, May 28 at 7:30PM; and Sunday, May 29 at 2PM at the OFC Creations Theatre Center Main Stage; Appropriate for ages 16 and up

A landmark musical, Spring Awakening is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality and rock & roll. Based on Frank Wedekind’s groundbreaking and controversial play (once banned in Germany), Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik’s brilliant rock score and searingly emotional book take the story of coming-of-age, youth revolt, and self-discovery into a new century.

It is Germany in 1891, teens are curious and adults are rigid and restrictive. Impulsive and reckless Melchior meets naive Wendla. They soon fall into each others’ arms, while anxious Moritz struggles to live up society’s expectations for him. Since they can’t talk to the grown-ups, they learn only from one another. The young men and women discover themselves along the way.

***This production contains absolutely no nudity.

Presented in partnership with the Rochester Willow Domestic Violence Center and Roc.SRJ

Post show talk backs will follow each performance with members of the cast and the community.

Picture it — December 2022: Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose are excited to finally get out of quarantine and get glammed up for the Miami Community Center's Christmas Pageant. Sophia, however, is grouchy from being cooped up and dishes out some zingers while refusing to embrace the holiday season. Forced to face her selfish ways, she encounters three celebrity ghosts, who lead her through her Past, Present, and Future.

Audiences will be on the edge of their seats laughing, as the three spirits attempt to fill Sophia with Christmas spirit and get her to the pageant. The musical comedy will feature a range of parody holiday tunes along with some music from the original Golden Girls Musical, as your favorite gals help you have yourself a very golden Christmas!

The Rochester Golden Girls have sold out productions in 2019 and 2021 for thousands of fans! Hunter Ekberg, Shawn Gray, Eric Vaughn Johnson, Eric Schutt, Calvin Staropoli, and Paul Urriola bring the girls to life in this Christmas parody rendition. Audiences who caught the show in 2021 will be thrilled to see brand new songs, sets, and surprises this time around, along with all of the elements you loved last year!

VIP Tickets ($42) include prime seating and a Golden Girls parody ornament!

OFC’s season headliner, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, is the heartwarming and uplifting adventure of three friends – Tick, Bernadette, and Adam – a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. They hop aboard a battered old bus nicknamed Priscilla searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they ever imagined.

With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes and a hit parade of dance-floor favorites, Priscilla Queen of the Desert is the outrageous queen of all Juke Box musicals. Featuring “It’s Raining Men,” “I Will Survive,” “Hot Stuff,” “Shake Your Groove Thing,” “Go West,” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “We Belong,” and “I Love The Nightlife,” this wildly fresh and funny musical is a journey to the heart of FABULOUS.

Directed by Eric Vaughn Johnson, featuring a cast of professional actors
