GOOD NEWS! New York State recently announced live public theatre events can reopen and our team wasted no time getting right back to performing! Although we have been open and running educational programs since July of 2020, the beginning of April marked our ability to welcome back in-person public audiences!

EFFECTIVE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4TH
Due to the community uptick in COVID-19 cases, and ever changing recommendations by the CDC, the OFC team has adopted the following policies until further notice:

  • Vaccinated performers/students and instructors do NOT need to wear their masks while on stage and in rehearsals if proof of vaccination is on file with the OFC office

  • Unvaccinated performers/students and instructors (or those without proof) MUST wear their masks

  • All audience members are asked to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Audience members may take off their mask if physically eating/drinking

  • Performances are still at 100% capacity and all seats may be sold for certain events.

We expect these policies to change in the coming weeks. By attending an OFC event you agree to our Liability Waiver, see below.

Many shows have three options on ticket pricing. General Admission is the normal cost for tickets to attend the show live in person. The Theatre Supporter and Theatre Hero tickets are higher priced, but the extra cost helps keep OFC’s lights on while returning from a reduced capacity.

If you are interested in specific seats being reserved for you for a general admission show there is a $20 per seat charge for them to be held for your party. Please contact us if interested.

See you at the theatre!

Sinatra's Night of Stars

Live in person performance on Saturday, October 2 at 7:30PM at the OFC Creations Theatre Center Main Stage; Appropriate for all ages

The show, A Night of Stars, reprises the nightclub acts of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Jimmy Durante, Louis Armstrong, and more with Frank Torchio performing singing and comedic impressions.  The Show includes many definitive readings of the songs that are most closely identified with these famous performers.  The show features the Russell Scarbrough 12-piece Orchestra swinging like the Count.

“You’ll never get a chance to see Frank Sinatra perform in concert, but some people say that Frank Torchio, teaming up with the Russell Scarborough Big Band, is the next best thing. In September 2018, over 400 enthusiastic fans enjoyed the music and the memories of this concert at the Cultural Life Center at Roberts Wesleyan College. I encourage you to make the effort to come and enjoy this fine event. You won’t be sorry!"  David Dunn – Executive Director, The Howard Stowe Roberts Cultural Life Center @ Roberts Wesleyan College

Frank Torchio has been performing his impressions in New York and Florida for decades. Russell Scarbrough studied composition with Hank Levy at Towson State University, and Bill Dobbins at the Eastman School of Music, where he received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree. The Russell Scarbrough Orchestra is a 12-piece ensemble performing the classic charts with hard-swinging songs originating from the Count Basie, Nelson Riddle, and Billy May Orchestras.
