2020 Classes & Programs

OFC Creations' classes and programs will provide your child an opportunity to push his/her creative boundaries.  Working closely with our highly skilled and professional staff, your child will be immersed in every aspect of the theatre, including singing, dancing, acting, back stage, costuming, props, and technical theatre, receiving the most well-rounded theatre experience for a young performer. Many of our programs are in partnership with local schools or the Lyric Theatre.

As soon as you register, you are automatically in the show. Auditions are held on the first day of the program (where applicable).

Please note: There are no refunds on tuition, tickets, rentals or ads. A small processing fee applies to all class and camp registrations as well as tickets.

Moana Jr

The first Rochester production of Moana Jr! Disney’s Moana JR. is a musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony, GRAMMY, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”


This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village. Moana and the legendary Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us. Note: the first day will longer due to auditions, we will email full information before the program begins.

Heathers The Musical School Edition

Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously attractive new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized butt...but J.D. has another plan for that bullet.


Heathers The Musical is a hilarious, heartfelt, and homicidal new show based on the greatest teen comedy of all time. With its moving love story, laugh-out-loud comedy, and unflinching look at the joys and anguish of high school, Heathers will be New York’s most popular new musical. Are you in, or are you out?

Tales of Mother
Goose! Pint Sized

Ages 4-7

Tales of Mother Goose is perfect for your first theatre experience! Focusing on skills in acting, singing, and dance, students will have fun while exploring stage confidence, public speaking, and putting on a short show. Tales of Mother Goose will explore classic rhymes like There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe and Three Little Kittens and Star Light Star Bright . Students do not need previous theatre experience to sign up. Perfect for beginners and for returning stars!

Audition Prep for Young Performers

Ages 7-15
Saturday, March 21st - 9:30AM-11:30AM at Lyric Theatre

Instructor: Courtney Weather Schutt

Do you have a big audition coming up? This work-shop
focuses on every element of your performance from walking into the room, introductions, monologue/song delivery,
and more! We will focus on performance delivery not only from the vocal perspective, but as a musical theatre
triple threat. Review the “dos” and “donts” of auditioning while having a blast at the same time! Students will perform while receiving positive and constructive feedback from the instructor and class.
